Here are some top tips to help you get the best out of VStitcher and Lotta.
Don't work with a file saved on a server, because typically performance is adversely affected. It is recommended to work with a file saved to your computer.
Save unrelated items in a VSGX folder. This can cause the VSGX file to become corrupted.
Move a VSGX file without moving all the associated folders.
Share a garment by sending the VSGX file and associated folders. Generally, it is preferable to export a VSP file instead.
If you are concerned about how your computer is coping with the demands of displaying 2D and 3D garments, you can use the Statistics feature. This feature, if enabled, displays the frames per second (FPS) at which the computer is operating at the top right of both the 2D and 3D windows.
To enable Statistics:
On the Main Menu, click View.
Then, click Show Statistics. The FPS is displayed in the windows.
To disable, repeat steps 1 and 2.
On the 2D tab, if is displayed on a pattern piece, hover your mouse over the icon to display a tooltip with relevant information.
